As you all know, every year, our very own Aunty Pen publishes a book to help raise funds for our senior dog sanctuary.
This year we are proud to announce that her fifth book is one that you have all requested over the years...yes, this year we finally let YOU pick the subject! "Thanks For Stopping By" is a thoughtfully curated selection of our best loved eulogies and love stories from the past eight years, a tribute to the incredible souls that have joined our Frankie and Andy's Place family, and left us all so much the better for their presence. Funny, thoughtful, poignant and even saucy at times, this book will move you to tears, and have you rolling on your back with laughter. At $19.99 for the paperback, it's a small price to pay for hours of entertainment, but that $19.99 will help us more than you know. This year, we are hoping to raise $25,000 to build a retaining wall at the back of the Big Dog ‘Frankie’ cabin to stop the flooding we experience on the sun porch and thoroughfares every year when it rains heavily. This flooding causes a major problem for our mobility compromised seniors and a risk for our kind hearted volunteers as they move around the cabins in wet weather. Please BUY this book to help us achieve our goal and if you can, DONATE a little extra to help us achieve our goal as soon as possible. For $4.99 you can purchase the e-book version of "Thanks For Stopping By" and even if you can't add a few dollars to help us reach our goals, even SHARING the book on your social media or with your friends and then leaving a REVIEW for us would be a great help. As always, we appreciate your support for our mission and hope to be providing a beautiful forever home for our elderly seniors and hospice dogs for many years to come.

It is estimated that 60% of dogs will die of cancer, and many of the senior dogs that come to live out their days at the beautiful Frankie and Andy's Place cabins in the woods are taken in because their families have dumped them just as soon as they receive a cancer diagnosis.
They think 'chemo, radiation therapy, drugs, sadness, lots of expense', and instead of committing to the dog they brought into their family, they just walk away. Our fundraiser with Hugo Coffee was an amazing success! We were able to raise $1,000 thanks to those of you who purchased coffee and merchandise from Hugo Coffee, with $500 of that being matched by a generous anonymous Frankie and Andy's Place donor! Thank you to all of those who supported our fundraiser.
This Giving Season, we humbly ask you to support Frankie and Andy's Place, our beautiful senior dog sanctuary and hospice care facility, where neglected and abandoned old dogs enjoy a beautiful final chapter in our purpose-built woodland log cabin facility. Every year, Frankie and Andy's Place provides a stunningly beautiful, forever home for an increasing number of gentle senior dogs in need. Every year, more and more of these previouslyundervalued dogs become the most prized of assets, providing a valuable service as therapy dogs in the community, working with the elderly, the lonely, the handicapped, and special needs children. Please will you help us to continue and expand our work? Over the coming year, we will be expanding our numbers to 40 full-time senior and hospice residents, in line with our year-on-year growth since our inception in 2016. We started with just two dogs in one small luxury log cabin: right now we have 25 dogs and three luxury log cabins and we have no intention of stopping until we have saved them all! Your gift will enable us to continue to provide top notch veterinary care, fresh food, a warm, comfortable home and everything these beautiful old souls need, so that they can fulfil the needs of the humans they meet in the community. As a canine behaviorist with relationship at the forefront of everything she does, Penny's unique approach will help you to understand both the why's and the how's of some common dog behaviors, and really help you to see things from your dogs' perspective. Penny's books are all especially written to raise funds for her beloved Frankie and Andy's Place and this latest book follows on from the hugely successful "Cut the Crap- a Simple No Nonsense Guide to Feeding your Dog" and "Frosty Faced and F*cking Fabulous-Love, Life and Good Health with Your Senior Dog". Please help us to help our megastar senior dogs like Meryl Streep, Orville Redenbacher, Patrick Dempsey, Otis Redding, Tate Diggs, Vin Diesel and many, many others with your generous gift today.
“ Our heartfelt thanks go out to all those who helped support this campaign.” Once in a lifetime, if you are very, very lucky, you get the opportunity to work with an artist of immense magnitude.... An artist whose work has attracted worldwide acclaim and has been celebrated in Rolling Stones Magazine and The Huffington Post no less... An artist whose work has been supported and feted by Depeche Mode, Bryan Cranston, Will Ferrell and Ricky Gervais to name but a few of the celebrities clamouring to obtain his works. And now, ladies and gentlemen, it's our turn. Frankie and Andy's has been chosen to work on a joint initiative with one of the four greatest living artists of his genre, 'Mr' Warhol himself. No, we aren't monkeying around, it's the absolute truth. 'Mr' Warhol has painted a beautiful abstract depiction of our mission, using our special Frankie and Andy's colors and his team are offering this astonishing work of art to be auctioned as a fund raiser to benefit his own charity of choice...and ours. He wants to help us raise funds to give Snazzy, Meemaw, Meryl Streep, Justin Timberlake, Tom Hanks and the rest of the gang the very best life possible, as well as helping his own beloved friends across the border in Southwestern Ontario. You see, Mr Warhol is better known as Pockets Warhol, the famous Capuchin monkey who has created stunning visual masterpieces on canvas that have shaken the art world to it's very foundations.....and he lives in a monkey sanctuary called Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary, just outside of Toronto, Canada, with 19 other Monkeys who all needed a soft landing and forever home. Sound familiar? This was a match made in heaven! And now you have a chance to own a 'Warhol' of your very own! Congratulations to winner, Pat Mitchell! It took 7 years over 3 continents during which time there were thousands of miles of training runs but on Sunday October 3rd 2021 Frankie and Andy’s Place Board Member Krystle Andrews completed what only 1,200 people around the world have been able to achieve.
