Lanier Islands Legacy Golf Course Frankie and Andy’s Place magnificent sponsors, donors and volunteers once again ensured another hugely successful day that was enjoyed by all at Legacy Golf Course. True to form, again this year, all the teams were sold out before the event and this year we broke all previous records for teams, hole sponsors, sponsors and event-day sales.

Our first annual FRANKIE AND ANDYS GOLF DAY FUNDRAISER went off without a hitch and was a resounding success! Hosted by Homer and Lisa Bryson at the beautiful Legacy Golf Course at Lake Lanier Islands Resort, the day started with 21 teams of four in a mass motorcade of golf carts full of eager people ready to enjoy the day, and Oh, how they enjoyed it! Beautiful weather, beautiful people and every single one of them a dog lover, eager to help us achieve our dream of opening up a second building so that we can save more senior dogs. Our grand ‘hole in one’ prize of a gleaming new Honda CR-V unfortunately went unclaimed, however very few people went away empty handed, thanks to some fabulous door prizes donated by our sponsors, and, in all honesty, when the golf is good, the food is fabulous, and you’re sipping away on Beso Sangria in the sun, it’s hard not to have a blast!
